  2. Marion (nee Denman) Frankfurter, 84, of Washington D.C., died on Sunday, June 8, 1975. She was a 1908 alumna of Central High School in Springfield and graduated in 1912 from Smith College in North Hampton.

  3. In 1919, Frankfurter married Marion Denman, a Smith College graduate and the daughter of a Congregational minister. They married after a long and difficult courtship, and against the wishes of his mother, who was disturbed by the prospect of her son marrying outside the Jewish faith.
