17 de jun. de 2022 · The Canons of the Council of Trent (1545-1563) were rules one was expected to follow in order to be a member of the Catholic Church and, according to the Church's teachings, merit the grace of God and eternal life in heaven after death. The canons specifically addressed the claims of the Protestant Reformation, which were condemned as heretical.
