edit: I understand the whole concept of the "Minority Report" and why they're ignored. But in this case it wasn't just an echo of the original murder--it was a whole new murder. Whatever magically creates the wooden ball with the name on it would have kicked in. Without that wooden ball part, I'm all for Burguess getting away with it.
