El Misisipi o Misisipí 1 es un largo río del centro de Estados Unidos que fluye en dirección sur a través de diez estados — Minesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Misuri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Misisipi y Luisiana — hasta desaguar en el golfo de México ( océano Atlántico ), cerca de Nueva Orleans.
