The North Carolina State Fair is an American state fair and agricultural exposition held annually in Raleigh, North Carolina. Founded in 1853, the fair is organized by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. It attracts around a million visitors over eleven days in mid-October.

Hunger Relief Day began at the N.C. State Fair in 1993 and since then, fairgoers have donated over 5.8 million pounds of food to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina and its partners. It has become one of the largest one-day canned-food drives in the state.

28 de sept. de 2023 · The N.C. State Fair takes place in Raleigh, N.C., Thurs., Oct. 12, through Sun., Oct. 22. The hours are: Oct. 12: Noon-11pm. Oct. 13-14 and Oct. 20-21: 9am-midnight. Oct. 15-19 and Oct. 22: 9am-11pm. Note that the gates close for admission at 9:45pm each night. Do I need tickets to enter the N.C. State Fair? How much does it cost?
