- About Us
Oundle School is a public school (English fee-charging boarding and day school) for pupils 11–18 situated in the market town of Oundle in Northamptonshire, England. The school has been governed by the Worshipful Company of Grocers of the City of London since its foundation by Sir William Laxton in 1556.

Our story. Oundle traces its history back to 1556, when Sir William Laxton, Lord Mayor of London and Master of the Worshipful Company of Grocers endowed a ‘Free Grammar School’ in Oundle, where he had been educated at the original Gild School founded in 1506.
Our fees include all boarding and laundry charges (if applicable), tuition, games, Health Centre access, Sports Centre access throughout the year including School holidays, library, lectures and some entertainment (not theatre).
International Admissions. Oundle is proud to welcome talented and open-minded pupils from countries all over the world and our community is enhanced greatly by a global outlook at the heart of a very British boarding education. Oundle is a selective school with a strong academic reputation.
