José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal (born 2 April, 1975) is a Chilean-born American actor. Pedro joined the cast in the Season 4 playing Oberyn Martell aka the Red Viper.[1] His parents escaped the Chilean military dictatorship and he was raised in Texas and California.
