Es el fundador del diseño industrial moderno. También fue uno de los fundadores del Werkbund alemán y la Secesión de Munich. Behrens recibió gran fama como representante de la arquitectura del funcionalismo.

Hace 5 días · Peter Behrens, arquitecto y diseñador industrial alemán. En 1907 se sumó a Deutscher Werkbund, fundada por Hermann Muthesius. En los siguientes 4 años trabajaron en su despacho Walter Gropius, Mies van der Rohe, Adolf Meyer y Le Corbusier, siendo una gran influencia, tal y como reconoció Walter Gropius en su libro "La Nueva Arquitectura y la Bauhaus".
