Este pez Disco fue cruzado con varias hembras de Turquesa Rojo. El resultado fue un 50% de ejemplares turquesa rojos y el otro 50% de la coloración que se conoce hoy en día como Pigeon blood. Con los ejemplare descartados logró desarrollar una variedad amarilla que no se había visto nunca antes.
