Princess Amelia of the United Kingdom. Princess Amelia (7 August 1783 – 2 November 1810) was the fifteenth and last child and sixth daughter of King George III of the United Kingdom and his wife, Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. She was their third child to die before them.

The Princess Amelia (7 August 1783 – 2 November 1818) was a member of the British Royal Family. Amelia was the youngest daughter of King George III and Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. She was her father's favorite daughter. After her death at the age of 35 in 1818, King George III had his final descent into madness.

She was her father’s favourite daughter, interested in art, music, history and literature as well as being an accomplished horsewoman.
