Augusta of Great Britain (Augusta Frederica; 31 July 1737 – 23 March 1813) was a British princess, granddaughter of George II and the only elder sibling of George III. She was Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg and Princess of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel by marriage to Charles William Ferdinand, Duke of Brunswick .

Princess Augusta (Augusta Frederica; 31 July 1737 – 23 March 1813) was a member of the British Royal Family, a granddaughter of George II and sister of George III. In 1763 she married Charles, prince of the House of Brunswick, of which she was already a member. She had seven children.

Augusta, Princess of Wales (1719-72) Augusta was the daughter of Frederick II, Duke of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg and Magdalena Augusta of Anhalt-Zerbst. She married Frederick, Prince of Wales, the eldest son of George II who died in 1757 before becoming King.
In 1807, George III granted her permission to flee to England and upon her return Augusta resided with her daughter, the Princess of Wales, at Montagu House, Blackheath, until moving to Brunswick House. Augusta, the Dowager Duchess of Brunswick, never returned to the continent and died in London in 1813.
