The Pumpking is a Hardmode, post-Plantera mini-boss that spawns during the Pumpkin Moon event. It is the event's final enemy and can move freely through blocks. Defeating the Pumpking will add 150 / 300 / 375 points to the Pumpkin Moon event, giving the most number of points for any enemy in the event.

Despite it being called Horseman's Blade, it drops from Pumpking, a boss from the Pumpkin Moon event, not the Headless Horseman. It has a 1.56-12.5% (1.79 - 14.29% ) chance of dropping from the Pumpking.
