Redsn0w 0.9.6b4 only supports the following devices for untethered jailbreaks: iPhone 3G, older iPhone 3GS, and older iPod touch 2G models.

Como muchos de vosotros ya nos habéis hecho saber, el Dev-Team ha lanzado una nueva versión de Redsn0w, concretamente la 0.9.6b4, capaz de hacer el jailbreak a los dispositivos con iOS 4.2.1, la última versión del sistema operativo móvil de Apple lanzada ayer mismo.

24 de nov. de 2010 · Esta actualización de Redsn0w (la 0.9.6b4) aprovecha el exploit que utiliza GeoHot en Limera1n basado en un fallo de la bootroom. Este fallo solo se corrige con una actualización hardware del iPad, así que es probable que hasta que Apple no lance el iPad 2 podremos seguir haciendo el jailbreak.
