Renania-Palatinado (en alemán: Rheinland-Pfalz, pronunciado /ˌʁaɪ̯nlantˈp͡falt͡s/ ⓘ) es uno de los 16 estados federados de Alemania. Tiene una superficie de 19 846 km² y está atravesado por los ríos Rin, Mosela y Nahe. Su capital es Maguncia ( Mainz en alemán ).

Landau, city, Rhineland-Palatinate Land (state), southwestern Germany. Its location is picturesque, along the Queich River in the Haardt Mountains. The settlement was first mentioned in 1106, and an Augustinian monastery was founded there in 1276. Landau became a free imperial city in 1291.
