Richard Harris played Dumbledore and I’m sure if he hadn’t died of cancer at the relatively younger senior age of 72, he would have played the character through the series. Stunt performers are a thing in movies. Christopher Lee would have been 78 or 79 when he filmed his scenes in Attack of the Clones and it released right after he turned 80s.
