Robert Milton Ernest Rauschenberg (* 22. Oktober 1925 in Port Arthur, Texas; † 12. Mai 2008 auf Captiva Island, Florida) war ein US-amerikanischer Maler, Grafiker, Fotograf und Objektkünstler und ein Wegbereiter der Pop Art im 20. Jahrhundert, obgleich sein vielschichtiges Werk sich nicht für diese Stilrichtung vereinnahmen lässt.
Robert Rauschenberg (ur. 22 października 1925 w Port Arthur, zm. 12 maja 2008 w Lee County na Florydzie) – amerykański artysta, który wywarł bardzo duży wpływ na sztukę amerykańską po II wojnie światowej. Zajmował się malarstwem, rzeźbą, instalacją, scenografią, teatrem i happeningiem. Odznaczony Narodowym Medalem Sztuki .
Desarrollo. Estudió farmacia en la universidad de Texas y, participó en la Segunda Guerra Mundial . Después realizó cursos de pintura en diversas escuelas norteamericanas. Parte de un minimalismo en sus primeras obras, evolucionando hacia el collage, donde incluye objetos reales como fotografías, agujas oxidadas, o trozos de periódicos.
