Charles Rich, 4th Earl of Warwick (abt 1623 – 24 Aug 1673), styled The Honourable Charles Rich until 1658, was an English peer and politician. Rich was the second son of Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick and Frances Hatton. As a young man, he was noted for being handsome, charming, cheerful and penniless.

The letters and documents in the collection were assembled or copied by Warwick and his cousin Nathaniel Rich [d. 1636] as evidence against the mismanagement of affairs in Virginia by the Virginia Company. The majority of the collection consists of petitions, inquiries, charges and counter-charges.
Earl of Warwick. Robert Rich, 1. Earl of Warwick (* Dezember 1559; † 24. März 1619 in London) war ein englischer Adliger. Er war der Sohn von Robert Rich, 2. Baron Rich, und Elizabeth Baldry. Beim Tod seines Vaters 1581 erbte er dessen Titel Baron Rich. 1618 wurde er zudem zum Earl of Warwick erhoben. Er war zwei Mal verheiratet.
