The Royal William rose, registered under the cultivar name " KORzaun ", [1] is a red hybrid tea rose. It was developed by Reimer Kordes from the cultivar 'Feuerzauber' (Kordes 1973) and is available under several other marketing names, such as Fragrant Charm, Duftzauber, La Magie du Parfum and Leonora Christine .

This classic rose was named Rose Of The Year 1987, and is still just as popular today! The deep red flowers and rich scent make this stunning hybrid tea variety a joy to have in the garden.

In 1987, he released William Shakespeare(1987), but the market's reaction was not good. To make it different from the 1987 version, he introduced another dark red rose in 2000 named William Shakespeare 2000 (2000).
