The Florida-based death metal icons have a new album in the starting blocks with “Killing For Revenge”. It is the 14th studio album the band has released and it is one of the better ones.
Hace 3 días · This, I realize, is a bit of a strange way to intro a piece that is, ostensibly, about Six Feet Under and their new album, Killing for Revenge, but… it’ll make sense shortly, I promise. Ask a Pokémon player who their favorite creature is, and you’ll get a myriad of different responses: from the fire dragon, Charizard , to the electric lion, Luxray and everywhere in between.

Hace 22 horas · Across all 13 songs, "Killing for Revenge" exudes an old-school death/thrash metal vibe, in its mucisianship and production, rarely letting up in its intensity and violence. Six Feet Under are back in top form. It's easy to make jokes about this band, or Chris Barnes. But credit is due where it is deserved. They made a valiant effort and it shows.
Hace 3 días · SIX FEET UNDER are at least attempting to rebuild their shattered public image, but compare this to anything by FROZEN SOUL, GATECREEPER, or the criminally underrated ARSAMES and it becomes only too apparent that death metal has left them behind. Rating: 3/10. Killing For Revenge is set for release on May 10th via Metal Blade Records.
