Subcon Forest features the Snatcher, who forces Hat Kid to work under contract, and makes her do a number of menial tasks for him. Alpine Skyline has the Purple Flowers, which corrupt the mountain as Hat Kid gets the Time Pieces. Averted in The Arctic Cruise, which is the only level in the game without any sort of overarching threat.
