Stamford Bridge ( / ˈstæmfərd /) is a football stadium in Fulham, adjacent to the borough of Chelsea in West London. It is the home of Premier League club Chelsea. With a capacity of 40,343, it is the ninth largest venue of the 2023–24 Premier League season and the eleventh largest football stadium in England.

Despite numerous attempts to leave Stamford Bridge and build a new stadium somewhere else in London, in the end Chelsea have opted to develop their current ground at some point in the future. The redevelopments were intended to be finished in 2020, making Chelsea’s ground a 60,000 seater.
30 de mar. de 2023 · Stamford Bridge’s capacity now stands at 40,022, having been completely transformed from its early days as an athletics stadium, prior to our foundation in 1905. Built in a huge oval shape, the stadium has undergone considerable reconstruction in the last 25 years, with only the old Shed Wall remaining from the original structure.
