Even Steve Martin had a different set up then you'd heard on the record before pulling out "Well excuuiuuse me!" He did familiar iconic characters, like the Czech brother, but with new lines. And at the end, he could do King Tut. That was arena comedy at its best. A little something familiar brings those 20 thousand people together.
