Death and burial. Susanna died aged 66 years. She was buried in Holy Trinity Church in Stratford next to her parents. Her tombstone epitaph reads: Here lyeth the body of Susanna, wife of John Hall, gent., the daughter of William Shakespeare, gent.

Susanna died on 11 July 1649 aged 66 and was buried beside her husband in Holy Trinity Church, Stratford-upon-Avon. Susanna Hall passed away on July 11, 1649, and her body was buried in the burial grounds of the ‘Holy Trinity Church.’ Many actresses have portrayed Susanna in several fictional works. John Hall, who in 1607 had married Shakespeare’s elder daughter Susanna, died in November 1635. Then, Susanna’s two surviving nephews, Thomas and Richard Quiney, sons of her sister Judith, died in February 1639, leaving Judith, who was by then fifty-four, with no offspring to succeed her.
Elizabeth Hall was born to Susanna Hall and Doctor John Hall. She was baptised in the Holy Trinity Church of Stratford-upon-Avon , England . She was the only grandchild William Shakespeare ever knew, because her three cousins were born after his death in 1616.
