Marge then decided to read Maggie the book, but it turned out to be very scary to both Marge and Maggie. Marge stopped reading the book and put Maggie to bed.

The Pookadook sends the family away on an overnight aquarium sleepover and then gets to work on trying to kill Maggie. Maggie escapes and hides in the basement, locking the door. She then starts putting together recalled baby gear and toys to make a trap for The Pookadook.
