FDA’s first youth tobacco prevention campaign, “The Real Cost,” 18 is designed to prevent cigarette initiation among US children and adolescents aged 12-17 years and to discourage progression to established smoking among adolescent experimenters (ie, those who have smoked <100 cigarettes).
