  4. Mrs Pollifax is not a superhero by any stretch of the imagination and is generally as flawed as all of us are, but through her rational way of thinking, she gets the job done in the end. The book refers to her as being "elderly' somewhere in her 60's and being 'somewhere' in my 70's, being in your 60's is neither old nor elderly!
