  6. Cobb was known for his aggressive base running style and his ability to hit to all fields. He won nine consecutive AL batting titles from 1907 to 1915 and three more in his career. He hit .320 or better for 22 consecutive seasons including over .400 three times.

  7. Ty Cobb played 24 seasons for the Tigers and Athletics. He had a .366 batting average, 4,189 hits, 117 home runs, 1,933 RBIs and 2,244 runs scored. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1936.
