Black and Blue is a 2019 American action thriller film directed by Deon Taylor from a screenplay by Peter A. Dowling. Black and Blue represents what is easily director Deon Taylor's best work as a filmmaker to date, crafting a surprisingly competent, even often enjoyable, cop thriller with strong performances (especially from Naomie Harris, Tyrese Gibson, and Frank Grillo) and well-put together action sequences.
