How to Apply to UWM. Prospective freshmen can apply to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee using either the UW System application or the Common App. All other applicants should use the UW System application. Keep in mind that UWM has three campuses offering different programs and degrees.
University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee has an acceptance rate of 95%. Half the applicants admitted to UW Milwaukee who submitted test scores have an ACT score between 18 and 25.

Admission to the School of Architecture and Urban Planning is selective and competitive. Most students admitted to the School will have a high school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 unweighted scale. Engineering and Applied Science
Admission to the College of Engineering and Applied Science is selective. The primary review factors are the strength and quality of the high school curriculum, high school class rank if available, grade point average, and ACT or SAT results. Well-prepared applicants will have four years of high school mathematics at the level of algebra and above and four years of natural science including biology, chemistry and physics.
