Van Hohenheim —also known in the 2003 anime series as Hohenheim of Light (光のホーエンハイム, Hikari no Hōenhaimu )—was a deceptively ancient and extremely powerful Alchemist as well as the estranged father of Edward and Alphonse Elric.
