A vibration table consists of a rigid table top supported by a vibrating base. The vibrating base is typically driven by an electric motor or pneumatic actuator, and is capable of producing a wide range of vibration frequencies and amplitudes.
Separating medication ingredients with a vibration table removes contaminants to reach those purity requirements. Vibration tables can also be used to mix, portion and compress powders into containers.
