Local treated sewage and stormwater effluents contained up to 10,816 pieces per m 3 of microplastics, mainly polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), being discharged at an average rate of 3.5 mg per capita daily.

Victoria Harbor is breathtaking beautiful. Be sure to ride the Star Ferry across the harbor to see the skyline of both Hong Kong and Kowloon. I wasn't impressed with the 8-minute Symphony of Lights show this time (daily at 8 pm) as I thought the show was more spectacular 10 years ago.
