Moore came up with Watchmen originally b/c he wanted to use Charlton Comics characters but DC couldn't get the licensing. So he basically just made his own versions, some of which gradually turned into full out parodies/satires. The best examples being the Comedian (Peacemaker) and Rorschach (The Question)

Hace 4 días · Integrating the Watchmen universe into the DCU was yet another stupid mistake. They ran out of ideas (couldn't use the typical 'Crisis' anymore) so they crowbarred in Dr. Manhattan to fix the stupidity of the 'New 52'.
