Lonnie Donegan died on 3 November 2002, aged 71, after having a heart attack in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire mid-way through a UK tour, [10] and before he was due to perform at a memorial concert for George Harrison with the Rolling Stones. [11] He had cardiac problems since the 1970s and several heart attacks.
