Using age old techniques, backed by state-of-the-art equipment at their studio in Perth, the artists at William Manson Paperweights are creating limited edition glass paperweights of exquisite beauty. Their range of lampwork designs include flowers, insects, reptiles and fish.
William Manson, while primarily a paperweight artist is also making glassware in the tradition of the Ysart family. The examples here illustrates how he has brought this style up to date with a modern approach to the additional colour decoration.

Willie Manson joined Caithness in the late 1960's and when Paul Ysart left Caithness in 1971, he took Willie Manson with him to work at Paul's new venture, Harland Glass.
