Bevan Dufty (born February 27, 1955) is an American politician and Director of HOPE (Housing Opportunity, Partnerships and Engagement) for the City and County of San Francisco. In 2012, Dufty was elected to serve as a Member of the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee.
Bevan Dufty was first elected to the BART Board of Directors in November 2016 and reelected in 2020. Director Dufty represents the 9th District, which includes portions of San Francisco. Director Dufty was elected to serve as President of the Board for 2024. He also served as President in 2019.
