Hace 4 días · Maria Theresa with her family, 1754, by Martin van Meytens Childbearing. Maria Theresa gave birth to sixteen children in nineteen years from 1737 to 1756. Thirteen survived infancy, but only ten survived into adulthood. The first child, Maria Elisabeth (1737–1740), was born a little less than a year after the wedding.
