William Arthur Henry Cavendish-Bentinck, 7th Duke of Portland, KG (16 March 1893 – 21 March 1977), styled Marquess of Titchfield until 1943, was a British peer and Conservative politician. Biography. Portland was the elder son of William Cavendish-Bentinck, 6th Duke of Portland, and his wife, Winifred Anna (née Dallas-Yorke).

It was the 7th Duke who deposited the Portland (Welbeck) Collection at the University in 1949. Family. In 1915 he married Ivy Gordon-Lennox (1887-1982), daughter of Lord Algernon Gordon-Lennox, 2nd son of the 6th Duke of Richmond, and had: Alexandra Margaret Anne (b 1916), unmarried. His eldest son, William Cavendish-Bentinck, 7th Duke of Portland, was also a Conservative politician and served as a Junior Lord of the Treasury from 1927 to 1929 and in 1932.
