Ii Naomasa (井伊 直政, March 4, 1561 – March 24, 1602) was a general under the Sengoku period daimyō, and later shōgun, Tokugawa Ieyasu. He led the clan after the death of Ii Naotora. He married Tobai-in, Matsudaira Yasuchika's daughter and adopted daughter of Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Naomasa Ii nació en 1561 como el hijo mayor de Naochika Ii, que pertenecía a la familia Imagawa. Durante generaciones, el clan Ii fue el señor feudal local de Iitani, provincia de Totomi (actualmente Iitani, Inasa-cho, Kita-ku, Hamamatsu-shi, prefectura de Shizuoka).

Naomasa II was a busho (Japanese military commander) and daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) in the Azuchi-Momoyama and early Edo periods. He was the fourth family head of the Ii clan. He was the first lord of the domain of Takasaki, the Province of Kozuke.

His unit's armor was painted crimson in battle in ode to the feared and respected Masakage Yamagata, giving them the nickname "Ii's Red Devils".
Naomasa Ii was born in 1561 as the eldest son of Naochika Ii, who belonged to the Imagawa family. For generations, the Ii clan was the local feudal lord of Iitani, Totomi Province (currently Iitani, Inasa-cho, Kita-ku, Hamamatsu-shi, Shizuoka Prefecture).
