Oriental région or Oujda region (Arabic: الشرق, romanized: aš-šarq) is one of the twelve regions of Morocco, located in the north-eastern part of the country. It covers an area of 90,127 km 2 and has a population of 2,314,346 (2014 census) and is the easternmost region of Morocco.

Oriental (Arabic: الجهة الشرقية) is one of the sixteen former regions of Morocco. It covers an area of 82,900 km² and has a population of 1,918,094 (2004 census). The capital and largest city is Oujda, and the second largest city is Nador.
Les principales villes de l'Oriental sont Oujda, Nador, Driouch, Berkane, Taourirt, Jerada, Ahfir, Guercif et Figuig . La ville de Nador comporte le plus grand aéroport ( Nador Al-Aroui ), la plus grande zone industrielle ( Selouane) et le plus grand port ( Beni Ensar) de l'Oriental.

Oujda is the capital city of the Oriental region of northeastern Morocco and has a population of about 558,000 people. It is located about 15 kilometres (9 miles) west of the Moroccan-Algerian border in the south of the Beni Znassen Mountains and about 55 km (34 miles) south of the Mediterranean Sea coast.
