Interlochen State Park is a public recreation area covering 187 acres (76 ha) between Green Lake and Duck Lake in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. It was the State of Michigan's first officially recognized state park. It was established by the Michigan Legislature in 1917; $60,000 was paid for the land.

The community is home to the Interlochen Center for the Arts and also contains Interlochen State Park between the shores of Duck Lake and Green Lake. Interlochen is a designated Michigan State Historic Site.

Interlochen State Park, immediately adjacent to campus, is the first state park organized by the state of Michigan, established in 1917 and opening in 1919 (Mackinac Island was originally a national park before becoming Michigan's first state park in 1895).
