Reginald de Braose (19 September 1182 – June 1228) was one of the sons of William de Braose, 4th Lord of Bramber and Matilda, also known as Maud de St. Valery and Lady de la Haie. [1] . Her other children included William and Giles. The de Braoses were loyal to King Richard I but grew in power under King John of England.

Reginald de Braose (d.1228), 3rd son of William III. 6th feudal baron of Bramber. In 1216 he was regranted by King Henry III many of the lands seized by King John in 1208 from his father William III, including Bramber (which he temporarily surrendered in 1218 to his son William V), the moiety of Totnes, and Kington.
Reginald de Braose (died between 5 May 1227 and 9 June 1228), married, firstly, Grace, daughter of William Briwere, and, secondly, in 1215, Gwladus Ddu, daughter of Welsh Prince Llewelyn the Great. He had issue by his first wife, including William de Braose , who married Eva Marshal .

Reginald first married Grace Brewer, the mother of his children and secondly Gwladus Ddu, a daughter of Prince Llywelyn of Wales. Reginald’s son William married Eva, a daughter of William Marshal, the Regent of England and Earl of Pembroke. Eva and William de Braose had four daughters.
