William Bentinck, 2nd Duke of Portland KG (1 March 1709 – 1 May 1762), styled Viscount Woodstock from 1709 to 1716 and Marquess of Titchfield from 1716 to 1726, was a British peer and politician.

Portland was the son of Henry Bentinck, 1st Duke of Portland and his wife Elizabeth Noel, daughter of Wriothesley Baptist Noel, 2nd Earl of Gainsborough.
William was in his minority when he succeeded as 2nd Duke of Portland in 1726. His education had been completed largely at the hands of John Achard, a Swiss scholar who spent many years residing at the family seat of Bulstrode. The 2nd Duke did not really play any part in public life.

He was the eldest son of William Bentinck, 2nd Duke of Portland and "the richest woman in great Britain" Lady Margaret Cavendish-Harley and inherited many lands from his mother and his maternal grandmother, who was the daughter of John Holles, 1st Duke of Newcastle.
Lady Margaret married William Bentinck, 2nd Duke of Portland, and her estates were inherited by the 3rd Duke on her death in 1785.
