Gordonstoun School is a co-educational independent school for boarding and day pupils in Moray, Scotland. It is named after the 150-acre (61 ha) estate owned by Sir Robert Gordon in the 17th century; the school now uses this estate as its campus. It is located in Duffus to the north-west of Elgin.
history. Gordonstoun was founded in 1934 by the German Educationalist Dr Kurt Hahn. Our forward-thinking School has a fascinating past and much of what has been pioneered here has become part of mainstream education. Gordonstoun educated three generations of the British Royal Family.

Lisa Kerr is a British business leader. [1] After a career in commercial radio, in 2016 she was appointed principal of Gordonstoun. [2] She is the first female principal in the school’s history. [3] Kerr is also a Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Moray. [4]
