El escudo de la ciudad de Montreal (armoires de la Ville de Montréal), metrópolis de la provincia canadiense de Quebec, fue adoptado en su versión actual en 1938, la evolución de la versión original de 1833. La utilización de este escudo por la ciudad tiene el día de hoy un carácter de excepción.
Las flores de la bandera y del escudo de la ciudad son símbolos de Francia, de Inglaterra, Escocia e Irlanda. La flor de lis de la Casa de Borbón. Este emblema representa, en el primer cantón del escudo, el elemento francés, que fue el que primero tomó posesión del suelo montrealés. La rosa de la Casa de Lancaster.
The first coat of arms of Montreal was designed by Jacques Viger, the first mayor of Montreal, and adopted in 1833 by the city councillors. Modifications were made some one hundred five years later and adopted on 21 March 1938, and again on 13 September 2017, resulting in the version currently in use.
