Edmund Beaufort, 2nd Duke of Somerset, 4th Earl of Somerset, 1st Earl of Dorset, 1st Marquess of Dorset styled 1st Count of Mortain, [a] KG (1406 – 22 May 1455), was an English nobleman and an important figure during the Hundred Years' War. His rivalry with Richard, Duke of York, was a leading cause of the Wars of the Roses .

Brought up in England under the tutelage of his royal half-brother, Henry VI, by whom he was created earl of Richmond in 1452-3, he had no connection with Wales until after his marriage in 1455 to the lady Margaret Beaufort, daughter of John Beaufort, duke of Somerset.

Edmund Tudor, 1. Duke of Somerset. Edmund Tudor (* 21. Februar 1499 im Palast von Greenwich; † 19. Juni 1500 in Hatfield) war der dritte Sohn des englischen Königs Heinrich VII. und der Elisabeth von York. Er wurde am 24. Februar in der Grey Friar’s Church getauft und nach seinem Großvater Edmund Tudor, 1. Earl of Richmond, benannt.

Edmund's title was Duke of Somerset although he didn't live long enough for this title to offically be bestowed on him. He is buried near his sisters, Elizabeth and Katherine Tudor (who also both died young).
