Edwin Myrwyn Rowlands (April 1, 1901 – March 28, 1961) was a Welsh-American member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate. He was born in Cambria, Wisconsin, the son of Emma (née Davies) and David Morris Rowlands, of Welsh descent. He had an elder brother, Morris.

9 de may. de 2024 · Rowlands’s father, Edwin Myrwyn Rowlands, was a banker and a politician who served in the Wisconsin state Assembly (1927–35) and the state Senate (1935–39) and then served (1939–42) in the Department of Agriculture in U.S. Pres. Franklin D. Roosevelt’s administration.
Rowlands was the daughter of Tennessee Virginia (née Hickey) and William Joel Neal of Irish descent. She was married to Edwin Myrwyn Rowlands, a banker and statesman, with whom she lived in Cambria, Wisconsin. They had two children, David and Virginia (later known as Gena Rowlands).
