El príncipe Ivane Javakhishvili era un historiador georgiano y un lingüista, cuyos voluminousos trabajos influyeron fuertemente sobre la moderna historia y cultura de Georgia. Es también uno de los padres fundadores de la Universidad Estatal de Tbilisi (1918) y su rector de 1919 a 1926.
Tarash graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law in 2007, with a Bachelor’s degree in Law (International Law) and from the IES English Language Program of the Institute for European Studies at TSU with a Master’s degree in European Studies.

Ivane Javakhishvili became an Associate Professor at the St. Petersburg University (1903-1917) where he continued to write and publish several volumes of History of the Georgian Nation along with monographs in fields of Georgian law, paleography, and other topics about Georgian and Caucasian history.
