Gwenllian of Wales or Gwenllian ferch Llywelyn (June 1282 – 7 June 1337) was the daughter of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, the last native Prince of Wales (Welsh: Tywysog Cymru). Gwenllian is sometimes confused with Gwenllian ferch Gruffudd, who lived two centuries earlier.

Gwenllian de Gales o Gwenllian ferch Llywelyn (junio de 1282 – 7 de junio de 1337) fue la única hija de Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, el último Príncipe de Gales nativo (en galés: Tywysog Cymru). Es a veces confundida con Gwenllian ferch Gruffudd, quien vivió dos siglos antes.
Gwenllian was a warrior princess, leading an army of Welshmen in 1136 against the mighty Norman forces. Her bravery has made her a beloved figure, revered much like Boudica for her strength and tenacity in the face of great danger.

There were no sons, therefore, to inherit the title of Prince of Wales, but as the daughter of Prince Llywelyn, Gwenllian was the heiress of the Princes of Gwynedd and the royal family of Aberffraw. She was the Princess of Wales and as a result represented considerable danger to the king of England.

Gwenllian was captured in her cradle; taken from Snowdonia and subsequently placed in the care of the Prior and Prioress of Sempringham at the age of just seventeen months.
June 1282 - 7 June 1337. Gwenllian of Wales, the only child of Llywelyn the Last, and his wife Eleanor, daughter of Simon de Montfort, Earl of Leicester was born in June 1282 at Garth Celyn Abergwyngregyn near Bangor. The exact date of her birth is uncertain.
