Shimazu Yoshihiro (島津 義弘, August 21, 1535 – August 30, 1619) was the second son of Shimazu Takahisa and the young brother of Shimazu Yoshihisa. Traditionally believed to be the 17th head of the Shimazu clan, he was a skilled general during the Sengoku period who greatly contributed to the unification of Kyūshū .

Shimazu Yoshihisa (島津義久, February 9, 1533 – March 5, 1611) was a powerful daimyō and the 16th Chief of Shimazu clan of Satsuma Province, the eldest son of Shimazu Takahisa. He was renowned as a great general, who managed to subjugate Kyushu through the deft maneuvering of his three brothers.
Shimazu Yoshihisa (島津義久,? 9 de febrero de 1533 – 5 de marzo de 1611) fue un daimyō japonés de la Provincia de Satsuma, hijo mayor de Shimazu Takahisa. Su nombre de la infancia fue Torajumaru (虎寿丸, '?), pero se cambió el nombre a Tadayoshi (忠良, '?) en su genpuku.

Shimazu Yoshihiro was one of the most skilled generals of the Sengoku period (1467-1615) and the 17th head of the Shimazu clan. Yoshihiro and his three brothers managed to subjugate nearly the whole of Kyushu before being pushed back to Satsuma by regent Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1587.
Shimazu Toyohisa (島津 豊久, July, 1570 – October 21, 1600) or Shimazu Tadatoyo, son of Shimazu Iehisa and nephew of Shimazu Yoshihiro, was a Japanese samurai who was a member of the Shimazu clan. He was also the castle lord in command of Sadowara Castle. [1] . He served in the Battle of Kyushu (1587) under his uncle against the Toyotomi.
